ORSA HOME LTD · Service Delivery

Clear work. Clear delivery.

This Service Delivery Policy explains how ORSA HOME LTD organises and delivers its residential improvement consultancy and project coordination services.

Service Delivery Policy

Practical support, clearly organised.

ORSA HOME LTD provides independent residential improvement consultancy and project coordination support for homeowners.

Our services focus on planning, information review, organisation, communication and administration rather than physical construction or specialist building work.

This policy explains what happens before a service starts, how work is carried out and how agreed outputs are provided.

Scope

What we provide

Our consultancy and coordination services may support homeowners with:

  • residential refurbishment planning;
  • material and finish selection;
  • quotation review;
  • project organisation;
  • contractor coordination;
  • project administration;
  • project information management; and
  • communication and follow-up relating to agreed project tasks.

The exact service provided depends on the service selected and the requirements agreed before work begins.

Before Work

The work starts with an agreed requirement.

Before a service begins, the relevant requirement, scope, information needed, delivery arrangement and applicable timing are confirmed so that both sides have a clear understanding of what is being provided.

Where a service depends on documents or project information, the delivery period begins once the required information has been received in a usable form.

Information affects delivery.

If required information is incomplete, unclear or supplied later than expected, the delivery timeframe may need to be adjusted. We will communicate where this materially affects the expected delivery.

Client Information

What we may need from you

Depending on the selected service, we may ask you to provide information such as:

  • the type of residential improvement project;
  • property or project details;
  • your current project stage;
  • quotation documents;
  • material or finish information;
  • existing project notes;
  • contractor information; or
  • specific questions or decisions requiring review.

We only require information that is relevant to the agreed service.

Clients should ensure that documents and information supplied to us are accurate and sufficiently complete for the requested work.

Documents

Document-based services

Some services depend on documents supplied by the client, including quotations, project notes, material information or contractor details.

Our review is based on the information made available to us. We do not independently verify every statement, measurement, specification or technical detail contained within third-party documents.

Where a document contains a technical matter requiring specialist assessment, we may recommend that the matter is considered by an appropriately qualified professional.

Communication

Communication during delivery

Communication may take place by email, telephone or another agreed method depending on the service.

We aim to keep communication focused on the agreed project requirement and to provide clear information about outstanding actions where relevant.

Where we require clarification before completing the agreed work, we may contact you for additional information.

Delays caused by missing information, unavailable third parties or circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect the expected delivery timeframe.

Deliverables

How outputs are provided

Depending on the service, outputs may include:

  • email summaries;
  • review notes;
  • action checklists;
  • digital PDF action plans;
  • coordination summaries;
  • digital project records; or
  • other written information agreed for the relevant service.

Digital outputs are normally supplied electronically using the contact details or communication method agreed for the service.

Service Boundary

Clear about where our role begins and ends.

ORSA HOME LTD provides consultancy, planning, coordination and administration support.

We do not provide:

  • physical construction work;
  • installation services;
  • electrical work;
  • plumbing or gas work;
  • structural engineering;
  • architectural certification;
  • building control approval;
  • property surveying; or
  • legal advice.
Independent specialists remain responsible for specialist work.

Where physical or specialist work is required, it remains the responsibility of the independent contractor or appropriately qualified professional engaged for that work.

Changes

Changes to an agreed service

If the requirements of a project change after a service has been agreed, the scope and expected delivery arrangement may need to be reviewed.

Additional work will not be treated as automatically included in the original service where it falls outside the agreed scope.

Where a material change affects the work required or the expected delivery timeframe, we will explain the position before proceeding with the changed requirement.

Timing

Delivery delays

We aim to work within the standard delivery periods stated for each service.

A delivery period may be affected where:

  • required information has not been provided;
  • documents require clarification;
  • the agreed scope changes;
  • a consultation requires rescheduling;
  • the service depends on information from another party; or
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control affect delivery.

Where we become aware of a material delay affecting an expected output, we will communicate the revised position as reasonably practicable.

Completion

When a service is complete

A service is generally treated as completed when the agreed consultation, review, coordination activity or administrative work has been carried out and the relevant agreed output has been provided.

The completion point may differ depending on the service selected and the scope agreed with the client.

Completion of our consultancy service does not mean that physical building or specialist work has been completed by a third party.
